Pete founded this practice after seeing too many talented leaders quietly burn out while their businesses looked “successful” on the surface. Here are answers to a few of the most common questions leaders ask before we start working together.
Pete’s work sits at the intersection of coaching and consulting. We spend time on how you think, lead, and make decisions (coaching), and we also roll up our sleeves to design strategies, structures, and operating rhythms (consulting). Pete is not a therapist and does not provide mental health treatment, though many clients work with both a therapist and Pete in parallel.
Most 1:1 coaching partnerships last 6–12 months, with some clients choosing to continue beyond that as their roles and businesses evolve. Strategy intensives are shorter—usually a 4–8 week window from kickoff to final recommendations, with optional follow-on support.
Most coaching is done virtually via video, which allows for flexibility across time zones. For team sessions, offsites, and certain strategic projects, Pete can travel on-site when it’s the best way to create the depth and alignment you’re looking for.
The discovery call is designed to answer exactly that. You’ll get a feel for Pete’s style, ask questions about approach and logistics, and share what you’re looking for. If there’s a strong fit, we’ll propose a path forward; if not, we’ll point you toward other resources that may be more helpful.
